Old Man Rivers exists to eliminate hunger in Wood County, West Virginia, by providing nutritious food, compassionate service, and dignified support to every neighbor in need.
As a proud partner of Local Churches and the Community Organizations network, we operate three programs designed to reach every corner of need — from our drive-thru pantry to children's weekend backpacks to hot meals delivered to seniors' doorsteps.

Food Pantry
Pull up. Check in on the iPad. Drive home nourished.
Fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and pantry staples for any Wood County resident. No appointment, no income verification, no questions asked.
Child Nutrition
No child should dread the weekend.
Weekend backpacks sent home every Friday with kid-friendly breakfasts, lunches, and snacks — bridging the hunger gap across partner schools and Head Start programs.
Senior Nutrition
A warm meal, a warm smile, delivered.
Hot, freshly prepared meals delivered every weekend to senior-living high-rises, disabled neighbors, and homebound residents throughout Wood County. Every delivery includes a wellness check.
